Event data comes from the LeekDuck event list
via the ScrapedDuck JSON feed, fetched
fresh every time this page loads. If that fetch fails you get the saved copy shipped with
the site, and the line above says so. A few events that feed misses, such as venue
events in Asia-Pacific, are added by hand from
Pokémon GO's own news and marked
In person ; their Details link goes to the official article.
Times. Almost everything in Pokémon GO runs on local time — a
Community Day at 14:00 starts at 14:00 wherever you are. GO Battle League rotations are
the exception: they are published as one worldwide moment, so they are marked
global and shown converted into your time zone.
Catch trackers are separate pages and only exist where they earn their
keep — an event without a "Catch tracker" link on its card above simply doesn't have one.
A tracker for an event that has finished moves to the archive ;
the standing Mega and Dynamax lists
never expire.
Reminders need a Google sign-in, and are delivered by
ntfy.sh . You get a push the day before — for anything
more than two days out — another 15 minutes before it starts, and one as it begins.
Setting one is not enough on its own: ntfy delivers to a subscription, not to
a person, so subscribe to your topic once on
Notifications , which also lists every reminder you have
set and can cancel any of them. ntfy accepts a scheduled notification at most
three days ahead, so a reminder for anything further out is held on your account
and handed over the first time you open this page inside that window. There is no server
here doing it while you're away.
